The "Responsible Rider Program" consists of 4 rows labeled "Essential Elements"

Each of the four "Essential Element" rows consists of three "stones" requiring criteria within the element that need to be completed. The program mile stones are represented by: the first row shall be sardius, topaz, and carbuncle; the second row shall be emerald, sapphire, and diamond; the third row shall be ligure, agate and amethyst; the fourth row shall be beryl, onyx and jasper.

Riders will be rewarded and recognized in each of the twelve categories with final recognition of the "Gold Helmet Award" upon completion of all twelve criteria.

Completion of all 12 criteria within the 4 elements completes the "Responsible Rider Program"

The "Gold Helmet" is awarded to the rider upon completion of this program.

The "Gold Helmet" award signifies the protection of Man and Earth.

Existing programs and resources from our Resource Partners will be used to meet the criteria.

Verification methods for recognition of achievement will include reporting forms, online responses, volunteer logs, event participation, letters of recommendation, mentor verification, leadership roles, board designations, etc.
